Making good use of leftover wines.
After a nice party with family and friends and you find yourself with some left over wines, what do you do? Drink?
I do not drink wine but a times have been in the same situation with just a little wine sitting there for ages.
Here are some ideas for that wine especially now in times of recession we do not throw nothing.
Think of a simple easy pasta with grated Parmesan cheese, butter and fresh herbs, a splash of wine would do miracles to the serving.
Use left over white or red wine to enhance flavour for your meat dishes (I especially love white wine with chicken + rosemary and garlic) Mmmm...yummy you find the recipe in this blog.
With red wine I also posted in this blog beef marinated in left over red wine.
Not to mention with fish!

Fish: Fish recipes in a second

Bringing cooking ideas to the table everyday is not a joke. Sometimes we just run out of them and only we can do is the most traditional thing that comes to the head first.
This is what's happening to me lately, after going to the seaside and seeing lot's of sea food shops I come back with my head full of fish.
But since I have no imagination left for the day I just settle for this.
Oven grilled fish with potato and carrot puree.
Enjoy!

Simple fish recipe: Oven cooked fish

This is a quick and simple healthy fish recipe. The fish can be whole or steak already de-boned.
To prepare this simple healthy fish recipe you need:
Fish
Bread crumbs
Fresh Parsley
Garlic
Salt
Whole fish: Clean your fish and remove all the inside, put them aside, take bread crumbs in a container, add the cut parsley and salt, crush garlic and add to the bread crumbs and with a spoonful of water mix
Then stuff this mixture inside the fish and whatever remains on the top in an oven container that has been smeared with olive oil (or any oil that you use to cook)
Put in the oven until cooked, this can be served with potatoes or your wish!
And for the steak you do the same only that you dip it into bread crumbs and cover with the remaining.
This gives fish an inviting yummy taste.

Fish or Mango?

You find a variety of Italian fish recipes in every region in Italy. But this blog every now and then will try to prepare some fish in the Italian way for you to try.
The picture you see in this post, is just fish cooked in the oven with various Italian herbs. And then I cannot do without oven potatoes at least once a week.
Enjoy!
