Million Dollar Recipe: Recession soup your family will love

My Million Dollar Recipe
My Million dollar recipe for beating recession the world is talking about it are you?
Here is how I make my Million Dollar Recipe recession soup
A tin of baked beans yes, those of English breakfast I only remove the tomato liquid in them as it is sweet and I do not want my recession soup to be sweet.
This Million Dollar Recipe soup goes together with onion, garlic, potato, mixture of vegetables like zucchini pumpkin etc whatever my fridge can afford.
Add stock from cube and tomato paste or puree. When cooked pass everything through a vegetable mill.
At the end I add drop of olive oil and some Parmesan cheese if I have and serve with maybe bread.
Enjoy your Million Dollar Recipe recession soup!
Woun't you?

The making of the soup: Vegetable mill
This is the vegetable mill I talked about in the post on pumpkin soup I use it a lot in the kitchen even to make potato puree it is very helpful and brings out you know a uniformly marshed potato that is very inviting for you family and visitors you might be entertaining

This has been very helpful with feeding my baby from weaning and it continues to be helpful always.

Pumpkin: Not only halloween
I had pumpkin in the fridge and I was not in the mood of making ravioli at all so I needed something else, gave a try pumpkin cream.

What i did was boil the pumpkin and strain it using a special italian strain for vegetables. I should take a picture and post it here because it is of much help, its a manual thing but helped me a lot when my son was weaned would boil a whole pot of mixture of vegetables and strain it to form very soft cream, you have 3 types of measures that you can use. will post the picture here anyway.
Then added some cheese, I imagine but have not tried it could really be smooth if you added some cream, can always go for soya cream with less fats. Give it a try I will definitely be cooking again this week.
My 5 year old son loved it.

Broth remains: use with bread
From today it is useless throwing away the left over bread because you can turn it into a mouth watering soup that every member of the family will love.
Ingredients:
Left over bread
Grated cheese
Nutmeg (a pinch)
oil
eggs if you like
These ingredients cut the bread into pieces and put together with other ingredients in warm broth and cook on low heat for half an hour. You can also add some left over vegetables if you have.
Enjoy your soup.

Making good broth
My mother in-law advised me that to make a good broth from Chicken we need to use cold water and allow it to cook slowly.
Ingredients:
Piece of beef steak
Chicken (thighs)
celery
1 carrot
1/4 of an onion
salt
1 big tomato (whole)
Cook in 3 litres of water. Put it on high heat and when it starts to boil you lower it and cook on low heat for 3 hours. When the soup is ready strain and serve as you like.
This soup is good for digestion and also for invalids.
Alternatively in Romagna area of Italy this soup is used to cook the mini ravioli.
It is also a base to many Italian recipes.
This soup recipe is simple to prepare and can be cooked by anyone, no extra skills required to cook it.
