Vegetable cake: Torta salata



Spinach Cake


For the ingredients I used 300g of flour,80g of butter, 2 eggs, 2 table spoons of sugar, salt and 2 flat tea spoons of baking powder.

Cake making steps: I mixed all the ingredients and made a dough, then I put in a container (closed) in the fridge for 30 minutes.



Next step is preparing the cheese spinach filling.
The spinach filling is none other than parmesan grated, and boiled spinach. Mix together to form puree like you see in the picture. You can substitute the spinach with other vegatables.

Other fillings include, pumpkin and who knows how it would come out with the normal potatoes or taro? Will give a try!
