Bujumbura twist (with alcohol)


On a hot day in Bujumbura, here is an idea to cool the afternoon.

Alcoholic:

3 parts of pineapple juice
4 parts of orange juice
a splash of sprite to make it fizzy
Add a small part of whisky (regulate to your taste)

and of course if available fruit syrup (cherry, strawberry)

steps: Just mix together.

serve in a glass with cubes of ice. Decorate with pieces of fruit.
Perfect for an evening with friends

Spaghetti in Tuna fish

Hallo, this recipe is for when you need to prepare something original and have few minutes to spend in the kitchen.

Ingredients:
1 tin of tuna fish
2 cloves of garlic
spoonful of olive oil
2 spoons of tomato paste
3 pieces of anchovy fish or small spoon of anchovy paste

steps:
heat garlic with oil in the cooking pot without browning it
Add paste and a glass of hot water
let it boil, add the anchovy and tuna
Cook it slowly until it becomes thick.


Spaghetti: Boil water in a large pot, add salt and when it boils add your spaghetti
cook until "al dente" or if you like very cooked.

When you have sieved the spaghetti mix with the sauce.
Serve hot.

Spaghetti meat sauce

This dish is famously known as Ragù in Italian. Ragù or meat sauce can be used for all types of pasta. Lasagne, spaghetti etc. Let's see the secrets of this delicacy.

Ingredients:
Cooking oil
2 carrots (grated)
onion
2 cloves garlic
1 beef cube
500g of minced meat (better if half pork and half beef)
3 big spoons of tomato puree
salt
1 glass white or red whine


Procedure:
Heat oil, add garlic and onion.
Add the meat and salt cook for 10 minutes then add the carrots.
Mix, cook for 3 minutes and add the wine.
Cook until wine evaporates.
(in the meantime put a litre of water to boil with the beef cube)
when the wine has evaporated add the boiled water and beef cube
Put your tomato puree and leave to boil.
When it boils lower the heat and leave it to cook slowly for 2 hours.

Pasta:
Boil alot of water to cook the pasta. Add salt and Pasta. When ready sieve the Pasta and add the sauce. Garnish with some parmesan cheese.
Enjoy your Pasta.

Piadina


Piadina is a typical bread of the Romagna area of Italy. The best piadina have eaten is the one around Forlì and Bertinoro area. Piadina could be either filled with cheese, or vegetables. It is also good to accompany the meat dishes. The secret is "Can go with about anything". If you are visiting the area, this is one of the typical delicacy you should not miss.

But you can make it about everywhere in the world
Ingredients:
I kg of wheat flour
200g margarine
salt
30g of baking powder
Milk

Procedure:
Mix all the ingredients to form a dough.
Leave to rest for around 30 minutes
Divide the dough into small balls.
Using a rolling pin, roll the balls into discs.
Cook on the pan until they cook.

Results: Serve with cheese, grilled meat, vegetables.
