Living a healthier longer life is a matter of informed choices of your diet and exercises.Most health related problems can be alleviated by taking into consideration a healthier lifestyle that come from first or all good nutrition, medical and self care.
How do I keep diseases away?
Best way to keep diseases away is by keeping active i.e exercising a lot whenever possible eg. swimming, walking, hikes, aerobics and all other kind of activities both indoors or outdoors.
The other would be to check on your diet, you can have a nutritionist help or if you do not have that you can find a whole choice of information on nutrition and healthy
high protein snacks online. The secret to being health is being informed by reading etc.

As you can see disease prevention is not always in your control, but you can help your self by watching on the areas that you can control eg exercise, good nutrition, preventive health practices and personal safetythis will help you a lot.

Here is your golden rule for a good nutrition and better personal health.
- Drinking plenty of water everyday.
- Eating a varied diet -all food groups.
- Eating fruit and vegetables everyday.
- Getting enough sleep and also doing things that you enjoy

But avoid:
- Smoking
- Excessive drinking

Dietary fiber (fibre), sometimes called roughage, is the indigestible portion of plant foods that pushes food through the digestive system, absorbing water and easing defecation. Food sources of dietary fiber are often divided according to whether they provide (predominantly) soluble or insoluble fiber. To be precise, both types of fiber are present in all plant foods, with varying degrees of each according to a plant’s characteristics.

Ragù alla Bolognese: Bolognese recipe

Ragù alla bolognese ingredients
-300 g of minced pork meat (some mix half beef and half pork) do with whatever of the 2 you have.
- 100 bacon
- Glass of red wine
- Broth just enough
- 5 spoons of double concentrate tomato (in the world)
- 1 onion, 1 carrot and 1 piece of celery
- 1 spoonful of cream (optional)
- salt and pepper

Cook the bacon and vegetables for a few minutes then add the minced meat, when the meat brown a bit add the wine.
Let the wine evaporate then add the tomato paste, salt and pepper then the broth in slow heat for about 2 1/2 hours then add the cream at the end.
(A friend adds some parmesan and blue cheese at the end then cooks for about 20 minutes mixing so that the cheese does not burn at the bottom, the result was awesome)

This is going to sound crazy, I went to the supermarket to do my weekly shopping and was really surprised to find this fruit in the shelves.

Ingredients are 200g of dark chocolate, 4 eggs, 180g of flour, 180g of sugar,180g of butter and baking powder 14g

mix yellow with sugar add butter and chocolate(melt butter and chocolate) then baking mixed with a little bit of milk and flour. Add finally beaten whites and bake for 45 minutes at 200°

Easy simple delicious fruit cake..but 'I hate fruit cakes'

I tried the day before yesterday to make a simple apple cake since I had extra apples in my fruit basket in the kitchen. I think it was nice, but my son said that he did not like to eat pieces of fruit in the cake he likes the classic chocolate one better.
My husband said he hated apple cake since he was young....so now I have a cake halfway all being pushed from one side of the table to the other what a waste...If you like to make it then feel free to ask me for the recipe

My cooking in the year 2010 will be mostly Italian delicacies with all locally produced products of wherever I will be.

And I have made up my mind, when we move from Bangkok wherever I will settle I will open up a coffee place where you can eat home made cakes, biscuits and pizza and lasagne hopefully tiramisu
