Bangkok Protests and Bangkok Bombs

Monday Morning in Bangkok,

the standoff between the red shirts (now wearing different colors) is still at its maximum.
There have been rumours of crackdown but this has not happened yet.
Earlier they had proposed to screen hotel rwanda at Hualampong station but was cancelled but yesterday I read that one of the video outlet has reported a surge in sales of this film.
In the last 12 hours much has happened.
Last night Internet rumours of Thaksin death were at its peak, then Thaksin emerges and posts pictures of himself on facebook this is after he hasn't phoned in on the protesters for some time but he explained that he wanted to distant himself from the ongoing standoff.
around midnight last night 6 people are injured in a bomb attack and shooting at the house of a former party leader. Early Monday morning M-79 attack hit Chiang Mai police's headquarter causing only property damage but no casulties.
Homemade bomb spotted in chulalongkorn hospital close to where the red shirt fortress is.

In about 1 hour the PAD(yellow shirts) leaders will hold a press conference to announce their campaign and in the meantime the multicoloured shirts vow to meet every day until the redshirts disperse.

AND
Mr Abhisit turned down the 30-day dissolution demand from the red shirts.

And the Saga Continues!
