Italian dinner at friends house
The nice thing about living in Italy is sometime when you have parties or invited and have no time you can always grab a home made cake in many of pastry shops in every town. This particular cake was the cake we bought for a dinner during our last stay in Italy to bring to friends for dinner. Usually when you are invited for dinner you bring something over, like most common is wine or dessert.
PASTICCERIA LA DORICA, we were unhappy to hear they were closing few days after we bought this cake. My husband was going to the same shop since he was like 12 years to buy cannolli a kind of pastry filled with cream. Will share a recipe for cannoli soon. If one day I learn to make this cake I will share it here with you. For now just admire the picture and inspire yourself maybe for a holiday in Forli and the sorrounding areas.
