Thai Salad: Spicy salad from easy Italian recipes

My easy and simple way of making this salad is as follow:

I crush 1 clove of garlic with not very hot chilli, then instead of using papaya I use shredded carrot, I have a special tool that I bought here in Thailand to shred the carrot you can see it on the picture. I add together lemon juice from 1 lemon and snake beans which if I was in Italy I would add the normal green beans then 1 tomato (cut into wedges ) and all this I will mix together using my mortar and pestle, in the end I add a teaspoon of sugar and fish sauce to taste (fish sauce can be bought in any Asian shop in Italy check with your town for example when I lived in Romania a year ago I found it there too. So I think you can find it anywhere.
This spicy salad can be served with rice and also can accompany fish. Try it.

Secret: Make it even better I sometimes add shrimps (cook shrimps on the pan simply and add or you can buy ready to eat shrimps and add them.
2) Add toasted peanuts yummy. All the best.

CoffeeWorld: Coffee world after lunch

After a nice Gyoza and some steamed rice we went down to the coffee world to have a coffee. Bangkok you will find all chains of coffee shops in every corner. Especially the cold coffees you will love them. But, as a girl from the slopes of Mt.Kenya where I knew how to pick and take care of coffee plantations and bring the beans to the factory practically in my whole life growing there I have drank more coffee in the last 7 or 8 years when I moved to Italy. And my taste is caffè latte. I never change I never try anything else and always hot please.

Enjoy coffee in Bangkok as you would in any other city in the world.

Let's see how much you spend for a light lunch in your town

bangkok food

The day before New Year we went round in Bangkok and stopped in a shopping mall and had lunch at the food city. Many food kiosks serving different foods, usually what you do is buy a coupon and depending on the food you take then the price is reduced from this food coupon and after you eat you can go to the counter and claim the remaining.
Let's see the kind of food choices and how much it cost.
